Pianist-composer Eric Reed will be performing at the Central Avenue Jazz Fesitval Saturday (See complete schedule here). Although he was born in Philadelphia, Reed is no stranger to Los Angeles, having moved here when he was a youngster. His current album, "Stand!", was released in March. The recording traces his musical progression from his early church music experiences (his father was a minister) to his present day career as a established jazz artist.
