Jane Monheit

Singer Jane Monheit makes a one-night stand in at Catalina's in Hollywood Monday. Monheit first burst upon the jazz scene when she was a finalist in the 1998 Thelonius Monk Jazz Institute's vocal competition. She released her first album, "Never Never Land," in 2000, and her seventh and latest CD, "The Lovers, The Dreamers and Me," was released earlier this year.

Angelenos will be getting a preview of what to expect New Year's Eve when Monheit will return to Catalina's for a six-nighter from Tuesday, December 29th to Sunday, January 3rd.
